Frieze Masters

This year, we are delighted to bring an exhibition that explores the role of maps in the creation of fictional worlds. Named after a quotation from J.R.R. Tolkien, the exhibition “I wisely started with a map!” traces over 2,700 years of fictitious cartography, featuring maps of much-beloved lands like Middle-Earth, Lilliput, and Oz.
