A pair of views of London streets with churches. One shows the Monument to the Fire of London, the church of St Magnus-the-Martyr, and Fish Street. St Magnus-the-Martyr was destroyed in the Fire of London, and rebuilt by Sir Christopher Wren by 1687; the Monument was completed a decade before. Fish Street Hill was the site of the original Billingsgate Fish Market, which is why it was so named. The print is dedicated to Sir Thomas Skinner (c.1737-1806), Lord Mayor of London ...
